About Peter Baron:
Peter Baron read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at New College, Oxford and afterwards obtained an MLitt for a research degree in Hermeneutics at Newcastle University. He qualified as an Economics and Politics teacher in 1982. He taught at Tonbridge school from 1982-1991, before training as an Anglican Priest and serving in the parishes of Monkseaton, Newcastle, and Guildford, Surrey. He was Vicar of Holy Trinity, Northwood from 1998-2004. He taught Religious Studies and Ethics at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset from 2006-2012. He is currently a freelance writer and speaker.
In 2007 he set up a philosophy and ethics community dedicated to enlarging the teaching of philosophy in schools by applying the theory of multiple intelligences to the analysis of philosophical and ethical problems. So far over 700 schools have joined the community and over 30,000 individuals use the Peped website every month.
